POMHPY Overview

POMHPY is a 6-week preventative (non-clinical) online mental health program for youth ages 12 to 25 living in Ontario, developed with youth, and facilitated by youth!

POMHPY features:

  • Weekly, evidence-based wellness activities

  • A free art activity kit

  • Student volunteer hours

  • A POMHPY Wellness Certificate

  • An honoraria for helping us improve POMHPY

POMHPY is currently in it's last cohort and we are no longer accepting new sign-ups. We are currently working alongside youth organizations to transition POMHPY! Please stay tuned for future sign-up options and information.


  • To participate in POMHPY in May 2023, you must:

    • Be a youth, aged 12 to 25

    • Live in Ontario

    • Have access to a computer or laptop (with speakers and a microphone), a reliable internet connection, and a private space

    • Be fluent in English

    You do not need a medical referral or diagnosis to participate in POMHPY.

  • Depending on the number of registrants, we may offer separate groups for youth ages 12 to 17 and ages 18 to 25. We need to know your age so we can place you in the correct group.

  • There are two theme options for session 4: “4.1 Food for Thought”, which includes a cooking activity or “4.2 Creative Minds”, which includes an artistic activity. Youth have a chance to vote for their preferred activity via the sign up form. You will receive either a meal kit or an art kit, depending on which activity receives the most votes.

  • Before your program starts, you’ll receive the registration survey link. Once you complete the survey, we’ll send you a confirmation email that includes:

    • Program start date/time

    • Access to the participant portal and your messaging board

    • Introductory materials including the consent form, code of conduct, and program guidelines
